By road

Helen's on the Cove B&B is located 200km or about two hours drive north of Sydney on the Pacific Highway, a four lane divided expressway, to within 4km of our door. Take the first turn to the right (or east) after crossing the Karuah River bridges when heading north. North Arm Cove turnoff is well-marked, and has orange lights at night.

If driving south, pass the Tea Gardens turnoff (on your left), then pass the famous Leyland Brothers Ayres Rock, now called "The Rock Roadhouse", also on your left. The North Arm Cove turnoff is then the first road on your left.

By air

Helen's on the Cove is only 25 minutes drive from Newcastle's Williamtown Airport. Complimentary collection for longer term guests, or overnighters for a small fee. The airport is serviced by the discount airlines Virgin Blue and Jetstar, along with QANTAS, and smaller commuter airlines such as Aeropelican. Direct flights are available to and from Sydney and Brisbane several times a day, plus regular interstate and Australia-wide services.

By rail

Travel by rail from Sydney to Broadmeadow station is available many times a day by fast electric train services, and the top end Explorer Express Rail is a daily service.

By coach

Bus and coach transport is available daily to Karuah or The Rock Roadhouse, and some services will even drop you at the North Arm Cove turnoff. We will happily collect you from and return you to these points.
